Hello, when choosing light diffuser, please pay attention to the following aspects:

1. Choose a diffuser with the appropriate particle size. The lower the particle size, the better the diffusion effect, which can effectively reduce the amount of addition. However, this will in turn affect the transmittance, so choosing the right particle size is very important. The particle size of Samsung SL200M light diffuser is around 1.7 microns, which has been proven to be the most cost-effective particle size.

2. The refractive index of the selected light diffuser material should be different from that of the substrate, but the difference should not be too large. If the difference is too large, it will cause total reflection and fail to meet the requirements of light diffusion and light transmission.

3. When making high-quality PC or PMMA optical materials, you must choose a light diffuser with a certain type. Otherwise, the light will be severely blocked and a high light transmittance cannot be achieved, which will affect actual needs.

Hello, within a certain range, the impact strength of PC/ABS alloys increases with increasing MBS content. This is because during the melt blending process, MBS forms a third component with good compatibility between PC and ABS. This component acts as a surfactant at the interface between the PC and ABS phases, reducing the interfacial tension between the two phases. This strengthens the interfacial bonding between PC and ABS, reduces the size of the ABS dispersed phase, and ensures a uniform and stable dispersion of the two phases, thereby improving the toughness of the material. As the MBS content gradually increases, it forms a relatively independent phase at the PC-ABS interface, and the impact strength of the material no longer increases. At this point, the strength of the alloy is determined by the three phases of PC, ABS, and MBS. Further increasing the MBS content will cause the impact strength of the alloy to decrease, as the impact strength of MBS itself is lower than that of PC.

Hello, we recommend using MBS brand M-711. Its normal low-temperature impact resistance is better than that of other brands of MBS. In cases with high requirements, we recommend using silicone impact modifiers.
